The Haven Charity Classic annually supports three amazing organizations. This only works because of your incredible generosity and heartfelt donations. To learn more about each organization, please visit their websites.
Holy Angels is a residential and training campus for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Their mission sustains their legacy of caring, teaching, learning and work. In a caring and home- like environment, individuals experience the dignity of living as independently as possible. Holy Angels residents are comprised of new born children to adults, all of whom receive the highest care they need.
Employee Partners Care Foundation (E.P.C.F.)
Employee Partners Care Foundation (E.P.C.F.) is a 501(c)3 fund established to help Employee Partners of ClubCorp's family of Clubs in need of financial assistance in times of crisis. The E.P.C.F. is available to assist with hardships with regards to illness, injury, death, fire, or other catastrophic events. This organization has supported staff members of Brookhaven many times throughout the years.
A pioneer in the fitness industry, Augie co -founded Lifecycles, Inc. in 1980. Over the course of 20 years, he grew the company, now called Life Fitness, Inc., to be the largest commercial manufacturer of fitness equipment in the world. In March of 2005, Augie's life took an unexpected turn; he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease). Drawing strength from his family, friends, and a flood of supportive emails, Augie maintains a positive attitude and continues to lead an active life in Corona Del Mar, California, with his wife, Lynne, and their four children. Supporting Augie's Quest is a national Club Corp initiative at the 200 plus Club Corp Charity Classics nationwide.
